Hi, I'm Tanya
I started Studio Grun because [why you started — the frustration or the moment]. I've been designing jewelry for [X] years, and I still select every stone myself — not from a catalog, but one at a time, for color and character. It's why no two pieces you order from us are identical.
Studio Grun is small on purpose. Working made-to-order means I'm not guessing what will sell and warehousing the rest. It means the piece in your hand was made after you asked for it, by people I know, a subway ride from my studio.
Designed to layer
Our pieces are designed to sit together.
Built to sit together
Rings that stack, charms that build, chains that layer without tangling. Because everything comes from one designer and one studio, pieces bought years apart still look like they belong together.
Made for every day
Substantial enough to notice, light enough to forget you're wearing. Every piece is hand-finished in Manhattan and built for daily wear, not for the back of a drawer.
Natural stones
Labradorite's blue flash. The flat graphic black of onyx and spinel. Opal's shift, moonstone's glow, turquoise, amethyst, chalcedony. Every stone is natural and chosen one at a time, so the one you receive is yours alone.
